Starr Mountain Lodge is a 3,200-square-foot retreat designed with the warmth of a log cabin and the scale of a grand mountain lodge. Nestled on several untouched acres at the base of Starr Mountain in Etowah, TN, the property offers complete serenity surrounded by nature.
The lodge provides the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion and convenient access to town, making it ideal for wedding weekends and stays, family reunions, bachelorette parties, retreats, and group getaways.
Starr Mountain Lodge comfortably sleeps 13 guests, with additional space available for temporary bedding (air mattresses) and shared sleeping areas, making it easy to host your entire group under one roof.
Sleeping Arrangements Include: 1 King (Private Room), 2 Queen (Shared Room), 1 Queen (Private Room), 1 Queen Sofa Bed (Loft Area), 1 King/ 1 twin (Shared Room), 1 Large Couch (Common Area), & 2 Air mattresses (Common Area), if needed (maximum guests, 18).

Pricing
The Lodge rental fee is $750 per night with a two-night minimum. Holiday and fall weekends require a three-night stay. Stays longer than 2 nights are offered at a discounted rate. Please contact us for pricing. There are no additional cleaning fees.
Events
Starr Mountain Lodge is a spacious property that can comfortably accommodate events and large gatherings. For the purpose of our rental policy, an event is defined as any gathering of more than 25 guests. All events must be approved by the property owners and an additional event fee will apply.
Outdoor Living
Designed for gathering and unwinding, the outdoor kitchen opens seamlessly to a covered patio lounge with a walk-up bar. Overlooking the fire pit and manicured lawn, this space creates the perfect setting for evening cocktails, rehearsal dinners, or relaxed conversations under the East Tennessee sky.
Located in Etowah, TN, and just a short drive from Athens and Sweetwater, Tennessee, the outdoor areas offer peaceful mountain surroundings with convenient access to nearby towns.
Accessibility
The basement level offers the most convenient access for guests with mobility needs, featuring zero-step entry from the paved parking area directly into the home.
This fully finished lower level includes a private bedroom with one double bed and one twin bed, along with a full bathroom—providing both comfort and ease of access for guests.
Main Level Living
The heart of this East Tennessee mountain lodge is the open-concept main level. A fully stocked kitchen flows into the dining room, highlighted by double glass doors, and a spacious living area with direct access to the expansive back porch.
Just off the kitchen, a conveniently located half bath serves day guests—ideal for retreats, wedding weekends, or family gatherings.
The Third Floor
The top level of the lodge offers breathtaking mountain views through floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Starr Mountain in Etowah, Tennessee.
This level features two bedrooms and a furnished loft overlooking the main living area below. Guests will enjoy three queen-size beds, a queen pull-out sofa, and a full bathroom—making this space ideal for group stays, retreats, or wedding accommodations
